Women of DPS

Women of DPS

Across our company, this group of women helps shape how we operate. From athletes and ambassadors to team members behind the scenes, their perspectives are an essential part of the brand. We recently did a profile on a few women who make DPS what it is. Check out some story highlights below!

Maddie Marchant, Quality Control Supervisor at DPS Skis:

Born in Austin, Texas and raised in Park City, Maddie is the Quality Control Supervisor at DPS, where she spends her days making sure every ski that leaves the factory meets the standard behind the name. What keeps her most excited is the community and the shared commitment to doing things the right way, with a focus on quality, consistency, and constant improvement.

Shoutout to Maddie for her commitment to DPS Skis, and to all the DPS factory women who make this company so special.

Holly Walker, ACMG Ski Guide & Owner of Fall Line Guides:

Based in Squamish, BC, Holly is an ACMG Ski Guide and owner of Fall Line Guides, moving between the Coast and Selkirk Mountains each winter. Most recently, she's been guiding at Burnie Glacier Chalet in northern BC, storm skiing, breaking trail, and heading up the Burnie Glacier toward Polemic Pass.

Her go-to setup is the Pagoda Tour CFL 112, rocker for efficient track setting, width for deep, light snow, and a lightweight build that keeps long days smooth. When you’re guiding day after day, there’s no room for doubt, clients depend on Holly, and she depends on her gear. She’s trusted DPS for nearly a decade, and that confidence shows.

Holly’s focus now is on what comes next: mentoring up-and-coming guides and avalanche instructors and helping more women step into the backcountry.

Charlie Barta, Alta Ski Area Ski Patroller:

This season has been one of becoming for Charlie. Stepping into a ski patrol role for the first time, she's learning every day, and finding a deeper connection to the mountain and community that shaped her. Through it all, the DPS Kaizen 105 has been her constant.

More peaks ahead: bluebird days, avalanche mitigation, spring corn, and everything in between - in the Wasatch and beyond.

Mali Noyes, Backcountry Athlete and Ski Mountaineer:

Mali has spent this winter moving through the Selkirks and surrounding ranges, stacking days close to home while building toward bigger objectives. With spring opening things up, Mali’s setting her sights on bigger, more exposed terrain across the Selkirks, Rockies, and Alaska - filming Rapid Fire Season 2 and chasing rarely skied lines and new linkups.

We’re stoked to have her in the mix and even more excited to see what she does next on DPS.

Olive Morris, Freeride Athlete:

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Olive is skiing her home mountains on the Koala 103 and 111, chasing a spot at Junior Freeride Championships, learning new tricks, skiing with friends, and riding for herself. The Koalas have been her go-to, durable enough to take a beating in tough conditions but playful enough to progress, with the 103 as her everyday comp ski and the 111 for soft days. That trust is paying off, dialing backflips and 360s, landing 6th at Whitefish 3* and taking the win at Powder Mountain 2*.

Next up, more progression, more comps, and a move into ski films, with the goal of pushing the sport forward and representing the next generation of female freeride.
