We've never built a backcountry ski like this. Most touring skis are built around weight and a user-specific surface area as the design drivers. The Koala Tour 111 takes this third dimension of rocker profile subtlety to a science. This rockered shaping and an 18m turn radius supports fast, strong, and creative powder skiing that is usually only found on in-bounds models.
With an impressively light weight to keep the skin track efforts to a minimum, this is the ski that finally lets you ski the backcountry the way you actually want to ski, without lugging your resort ski up the skin track to do it.

Built with our unique 100% carbon fiber Pagoda Tour construction that is ultra long-lasting, strong, and light, the Koala Tour 111 sacrifices no energy on the way up.
The full carbon construction is woven with organic flax fibers strategically placed on the torsional axis, helping to reduce torsional chatter if you do come across steep, hard snow while preserving the lively rebound that carbon offers. It will stay composed on firm sections and playful in softer snow.
Its unique rocker profile and center-biased mount point mirror the character of our in-bounds Koala 111, giving this ski a freestyle-inspired, creative feel.
